Enrollment for 2024-2025 is now Open!

To be accepted in Head Start:

Your child must be at least 3 or 4 years old by August 1st*, 2024.
Families are required to show proof of income.
Provide proof of the required physical and dental exams, or be willing to work with Head Start to obtain them by the deadline.

Please begin by completing an online application or picking up an enrollment packet at the Darrough Chapel or Elmwood locations.

You may attach the following documents to the online application or bring them to the school when you pick up a packet.

Income Verification (1040 tax return for 2023 or W2 for each job or last three pay stubs or letter from employer, SNAP eligibility, SSI or TANF)
Child’s Birth Certificate
Child’s Social Security Card (optional)
Parent/Guardian photo ID

Also include the following documents if you have them at the time of application:

Child’s Shot Record
Child’s Hemoglobin and Lead blood screen results
Child’s Insurance card
