Join us for AAC Night: Parent/Caregiver Workshop with the Wildkats! This special evening, which is open to the community, will focus on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Because communication is about more than just talking—it’s about the connection between school, home, and community. Our Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are hosting an interactive caregiver workshop dedicated to the tools that power expression.
We’re diving into Core Vocabulary: the essential "communication toolkit" for everyday life. Whether your child is non-verbal or simply needs extra support, you’ll leave with practical, at-home ideas to help them be heard.
✨ What to Expect:
-Everyday communication tools
-Supportive Wildkat community
-Practical at-home ideas
👥 Who: Open to the community! Geared toward parents, caregivers, and advocates. (To allow for focused discussion and hands-on strategy sharing, this event is designed for an adult audience).
📍 Where: Central Middle International School (Please enter through the Front Door Entrance)
📅 When: Monday, April 27 @ 5:30 PM
Please let us know if you plan to attend. Event RSVP is encouraged https://forms.gle/xbnZqkPmBvNpA7md6
Let’s build stronger connections, one word at a time. See you there!
